I have loved the west and western art since I was a little kid. This carving was inspired by a very old photograph which depicts a turn of the century cowboy who upon taking a closer look has an empty ammo belt. I put a cigar in his mouth since there’s not much else for him left to do but light up and look tough.
Original, one of a kind piece.
Hand carved in black cottonwood bark collected near in B.C..
16” long x 3 1/2” thick x 4 3/4” wide
Carving is signed and equipped with a carved notch for wall hanging.
**Free shipping within the U.S. , charges beyond $20 for international shipping is to be paid by purchaser. Recommended home display light (used in staged photo) available here: https://amzn.to/4hd7CLz
